Self-Portraits

Last year I wanted to start doing self-portraits every week. I found that between the holidays, travel, and flu-season, every week was a bit too ambitious. Still, after New Years I was able to get another set going, even if my Polaroids did freak me out! I won’t be fooled next time!

New Years

Since moving to Texas and living here for one year, I’ve found myself becoming frustrated with how busy my friends are down here. So recently I decided to start going out more and creating the social experiences that I want us to have. Bjorn and I threw our first New Years party, and it was a blast! Afterwards I left the decorations up for a week, and then wanted to use them in some self portraits the following weekend. These digital photos turned out so well! The goal was to take some polaroids, but why not do both!?

There was so much confetti on the floor after the shoot. Luckily my vacuum picked everything up!

Fun

I must have thrown this around so much. It’s obvious I was having a good time! I am still finding confetti everywhere.
